Amanda Perkins Art
We are delighted to welcome Amanda to our exhibition space. Her unique work is inspired by the buildings and landscape of Exmoor and North Devon. Her prints, as well as cards, will be available to buy.

Tango Calor return to Porlock, a trio of talented musicians bring the sounds of Havanna to Porlock, with superb singing, and beautiful rhythms, you will tap your feet and hum all the way home. We will be serving Tacos, and samples of Tanqueray Sevilla from 7pm, and the music will start at 7.30pm. Join us for supper with a short walk plus laser guided stargazing at Exford Bridge Tea Rooms which is one of the Dark Sky Hubs for Exmoor National Park. If weather cloudy, we will use a virtual planetarium inside the tearooms and star hop with constellation stories. £40 pp £20 for anyone 16 or under. Booking essential.

Iron mined in the Brendons in the 19th century was transported to Watchet on a well engineered railway. This is a three hour walk from Ralegh's Cross Inn, exploring old Brendon Village, the iron mines, the Winding house and the remains of the mineral railway still visible in the Brendon Hills. It includes part of the Incline: steep, spectacular, but optional. Booking essential.

A fascinating insight into the women that lived and worked at this isolated farmhouse from Elizabeth Vellacott in 1810 right through to Gertie Antell in the 1960’s. What was it like living without the benefits of running water, electricity or gas, plumbing or telephone or a road that could be used by a motorised vehicle.

Bruce Lang will give a talk based on over 50 years of playing village cricket in Timberscombe and Wootton Courtenay which will be of interest to past, present and potential players!
The meeting will start at 7pm on Monday 18th March 2024 and last until 8pm.
The church offers a hearing loop, ramp entry, a partially accessible toilet and light refreshments.
Members are due to pay their annual membership at this meeting £10, and £1 per meeting. Visitors £4.

Full Moon on Exmoor break
The Yarn Market Hotel in Dunster, based within Exmoor National Park, Europe’s first designated Dark Skies Reserve, is hosting Full Moon on Exmoor break. The break is for 2 nights on a Dinner Bed and Breakfast basis and you will be taken out in the hotel transport to a location on Exmoor to view the full moon and experience the night time atmosphere and sounds of Exmoor.
