Simonsbath Festival is a non profit making community festival which celebrates all things Exmoor in the six weeks between May Day and Midsummer. In the spirit of diversity the festival offers a variety of events and activities including talks, classical, folk and jazz music. The festival also collaborates with partners The Exmoor Society and the Exmoor Running and Walking Festival whose events showcase properties and locations on Exmoor that are not easily viewed from public roads. The 19th century mineral line was built to carry iron ore from the Brendons to Watchet for shipment to South Wales. This is a walk/talk of about 7 miles, steep, but with stops along the way. We visit  Beulah Chapel, the old Brendon village and the Winding House. Then we go down the  steep Incline to Comberow, through the woods to Leighland Chapel and circle back via a picturesque waterfall. Boots, a packed lunch and waterproofs needed.

Lynton & Lynmouth will once again offer the most beautiful backdrop for some of the most stunning cars in the South West. Over 400 cars will roll into town, Super Cars, Classics, Vintage, Bikes and even Tractors – vehicles for everyone. With stalls and activities for the family and touring car clubs throughout the day this is not your typical Classic Car Show. A real family attraction and this year destined to be bigger and better again – visit one of the UK’s best classic car shows. £5 per adult entry donation. Under 12s free. Julia's Works can be quite spontaneous! But within that organic process, her main focus is on capturing as much atmosphere possible, from the subject matter being worked on, at any one time. Her pictures often strive to express their subjects, beyond the obvious; hopefully, inviting the viewer in, to share and enjoy her sensitive expressions, within the works.
