Join Walk Leader Steve Key for this fabulous walk around the Chains. He is a retired Accountant who now spends time on his hobbies including, Astronomy, Exmoor, Geology, Golf, History, Photography & World Affairs. This is his 49th year walking Exmoor. He has several voluntary roles working for ENPA and South West Peatland Partnership.

We will walk north up Macmillan Way West to Chains Barrow, west to Wood Barrow via Pinkery Pond then head south to cross the B3358 to Roosthichen where we stop for a picnic lunch.

After lunch we walk through Lew Combe to Moles Chamber then down Great Vintcombe back to the lay by. – Dogs welcome on a lead. – Children welcome. – Bring a picnic.

Beekeepers will guide you through this engaging and informative day. You will get suited-up in protective clothing and have real experience of dealing with a hive of bees.
