Dunster Outback Guided Walk
A 4 mile circular walk (c. 2½ hours) through the ages, from the outskirts of Dunster village up to Bat’s Castle with amazing views of moorland, coast and woodland.
First Wednesday of the month: April - October 2025.
11am start from Dunster National Park Centre, TA24 6SE

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear. Some steep inclines.
A moderate level of fitness required
Chargot Woods Walk
The 19c mineral line was built to carry iron from the Brendons to Watchet for shipment to South Wales. Spectacular remains are hidden in the hills. This is a one hour stroll to look at Langham Engine House, then a two hour walk down the steep miners' track to see Bearland Flue and other features connected with iron mining. We may visit Burrow Farm Engine House or Kennisham Hill.

A beginners class using mixed media & weather permitting we may be able to go outside to study some trees. We will be using crayons, ink and paints to create a colourful and expressive Autumn Oak Tree, in a relaxing, friendly & peaceful environment. Tuition & support by Artist Leigh, from Roots & Feathers. Beginners level but all levels are welcome. All materials & refreshments included. Please bring sturdy footwear & outdoor clothing.
