Chargot Woods Walk

The 19c mineral line was built to carry iron from the Brendons to Watchet for shipment to South Wales. Spectacular remains are hidden in the hills.  This is a one hour stroll to look at Langham Engine House, then a two hour walk down the steep miners' track to see Bearland Flue and other features connected with iron mining. We may visit Burrow Farm Engine House or Kennisham Hill.

Choral Singing Weekend - "All Creatures Great and Small"

Music Week singers in Yarn Market
Based in the medieval village of Dunster, the Yarn Market Hotel has a 2 night 3 day choral singing break “All Creatures Great and Small ” – exploring music inspired by animals.
The tutor for the break is Robyn Sevastos who has led the choir at our annual Music Holiday Week for many years.
The weekend concludes with a public performance by the choir in Dunster’s historic Tithe Barn. Residential package from £200 per person, Non residential places also available from £40.
