Please note that we will not feature fireworks – this is intended to be a break for those wishing to get away from the loud bangs.
Set in the heart of North Devon’s breathtaking countryside, this exciting activity break offers the perfect blend of adventure and traditional bonfire celebrations, ideal for all abilities and set against a stunning rural backdrop.

Our Bonfire night break is filled with various outdoor activities, allowing everyone to challenge themselves, have fun, and connect with nature. The fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. Join in on traditional Bonfire Night festivities that are perfect for a cosy evening under the stars.

Monday 3th November 2025
Arrive in the afternoon – bedrooms are available from 4pm
Enjoy your evening meal at 6pm
Settle in and relax with gentle pastimes of games, books and warming drinks

Guy Fawkes making: get arty and craft your version of the infamous character to set the mood for this historic celebration

Campfire & stargazing: On the second evening, gather around the warmth of a crackling campfire. Share stories, toast marshmallows, and enjoy the tranquillity of the night, all under the clear, starry skies of Exmoor. If you want to see your Guy Fawkes go up in flames they can be placed on the fire.

Disco time: It’s time to bring the party indoors and let loose with our resident DJ at this fun, family-friendly, disco
Friday 7th November
Hot breakfast at 8.30am
Check-out of your room by 10am – sadly it’s time to say goodbye but we’d recommend exploring the area with a walk around Wistlandpound Reservoir, or a short drive to a beach or popular tourist destination
Activities on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday could include:
Abseiling & Zipline: Feel the rush of excitement as you descend the wall and soar through the air on our thrilling zipline.
Climbing: Test your strength and determination as you tackle our climbing walls, perfect for all abilities.
Archery: Sharpen your aim and take part in a fun archery session, channelling your inner archer as you hit the target.
Horse riding: Take a gentle ride around the arena and through the scenic surroundings of Calvert Exmoor estate on horseback, where you’ll enjoy views of the peaceful countryside and the natural beauty of North Devon.
Bikes: Whizz around the corners and zoom on the straights as you complete a lap of the reservoir route on the accessible and adapted bikes that can be used by anyone.

This price is all-inclusive of accommodation, all meals, activities and use of the facilities as outlined above.
