Chargot Woods Walk

Join Walk Leader Phil Gannon for guided tour starting at Chargot Woods to discuss the history of the West Somerset Mineral Line.
For thirty-two years, Phil worked as a chartered building surveyor in West Somerset until retiring. He has assisted the ENPA with conservation and project work and was formerly a member of the Exmoor Mines Research Group.
A 1-hour stroll to look at Langham engine house, then a two hour walk down the steep miners’ track to see the Bearland Flue and other features connected with iron mining. We may visit Burrow Farm engine house or Kennisham Hill.
Please note there will be stiles in the second and third section of this walk.
