Forest Bathing
Forest Bathing is a type of therapy involving spending time in nature to promote health and well being. It is heavily based on Japan's forest bathing, (shinrin-yoku, meaning showering or basking in the goodness of the forest), yet also involves different elements from other fields of science, such as the importance and quality and age of the woodland, the tree and plant interconnection of the wood-wide web, as well as holistic practices taken from yogic techniques, meditation, mindfulness through our senses, grounding/earthing and others.
Benefits of Forest Bathing include, lifting depression, improving energy, boosting immune system, reducing stress levels, reducing blood pressure and lowering blood-sugar levels.
