COWBRIDGE SAWMILL
Situated in the village of Timberscombe, this mill contains a forge, workshop and museum providing an interesting attraction for Exmoor. Volunteers can join in any area of the sawmill that interests them. For more information, please contact Owen Rush on oandarush@gmail.com

EXMOOR NATURAL HISTORY SOCIETY
The Society's volunteers run the Natural history Centre at Porlock Weir, open on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons 2 -5pm from 1st May until 26th September. There are also Natural History Walks from there every 3rd Thursday (16th May, 20th June, 18th July, 15th August and 19th September) from 2 - 4pm. LYN & EXMOOR MUSEUM
Situated in Lynton, this museum is looking for volunteers to get involved in helping man the front desk and welcoming visitors to the museum. Please phone Phil Taylor on 01598 752308 for more details.

NATIONAL TRUST WEST EXMOOR
There are a range of opportunities available throughout the year. Please contact Jack Ward via Jack.Ward@nationaltrust.org.uk for further information for more information about the range of practical conservation activities on offer and their regular volunteer group meet dates.

NORTH  DEVON BIOSPHERE - PLEDGE FOR NATURE PROJECT
Pledge for Nature is a campaign aimed at encouraging and supporting people to take action for nature. They are inviting individuals, community groups, schools, businesses and particularly farmers to pledge to tackle priority issues for nature's recovery. Every season new activities will be promoted from tree planting and installing bird boxes to creating wildflower patches and making space for nature in your garden. Visit their website: www.biosphere.org.uk/pledgefornature to see their pledge map and be inspired by what people in your community are already doing for nature.
