Meet at Bossington Hill car park

Join Exmoor National Park Ranger Charlotte and Exmoor based astronomers for a family friendly guided walk on Bossington Hill to observe the nature and dark skies of Exmoor. The 3km gentle walk begins at dusk and takes us to the top of Hurlstone Combe allowing our eyes to adjust before circling back round to the car park at Bossington Hill where a telescope will be on hand to view the planets and stars above us. Once it goes dark, we will try to avoid using torches as it is much better to use our human night vision. However, it is recommended to bring a torch just in case. Meet at Bossington Hill car park, (w3w.co/dizziness.owls.sometime). Drive to the very end of the road from Minehead to North Hill. Please note we will not be meeting in Bossington village car park.
