The Exmoor Feast

Spend a day in the heart of Exmoor learning to forage, butcher, and cook game and a variety of wild foods culminating in a wild food feast around the campfire. It’s very much a hands-on sort of day, where you’ll learn a combination of open fire cooking principles with hot and cold smoking techniques. The Game School Team are passionate about locally sourced and sustainable game, so the majority of what we eat will have been sourced within a few hundred metres of where it is being eaten. During the day you’ll learn about venison and deer management, hot and cold smoking methods, butchery and game meat preparation, wild plant identification and open fire cooking. £95pp or £170 for two people.
