Wandering Wild: Nettlecombe Court

Adventure awaits at Nettlecombe Court! Get ready for a ‘Wild Wander’ that’s perfect for families who love to explore! We’re diving into an immersive nature trail where you’ll use your detective skills to find hidden spots and join in on a whole host of hands-on activities. From bird watching and tree crafts to uncovering the tiny wonders of lichens with mini-microscopes and racing handmade rafts, there will be lots of fun activities for all the family to enjoy! This session is free to attend.

Quince Honey Farm welcomes you to a unique dining experience, taking you on a journey from pollinator to plate. You will experience a 5 course taster menu unlike any other, where the ingredients of each and every dish are made possible only as a result of bee pollination.
The evening will start with a short talk from Ian Wallace, Master Bee Farmer and Partner of the farm, who will introduce you to the world of honey farming and a brief history of the farm as it enters its 76th year. Learn about the importance of supporting our pollinators, the wondrous work they do, and hear about our connection with Exmoor National Park. Heather Harley, Conservation Officer at Exmoor, will join in to talk about the work underway to restore species-rich grassland and habitat for pollinators across Exmoor.
Then, relax and relish in the 5 course taster menu will be served to you.

Triscombe Farmhouse

An evening celebrating everything the Exmoor has to offer: food, history, landscapes, ecology and stars. Weather permitting the evening will end with a short walk and stargazing the Exmoor sky. Alternatively viewing the Exmoor dark sky indoors using a planetarium. Please dress appropriately for the walk, also bringing waterproof footwear and a torch.
