Facilities
There are accessible public toilets at the car park at the start of the walk in Porlock and at Bossington village just off the route. Porlock has pubs and cafes, and there are tea-rooms in Bossington.

Terrain and surface
This walk is fairly flat, with good surfaces apart from the middle section where you walk on or alongside the shingle ridge.

Some of the pavements in Porlock are narrow and are missing drop kerbs which could cause difficulties for mobility scooter users.

To avoid these sections, you can start the walk at the car park from Bossington, and either follow a track to the eastern end of the shingle ridge, or go along the Coast Path to the boardwalk. More information about both of these walks to follow soon.
