New Sections of Coast Path Open on Exmoor!
Six new section of coast path were officially opened on Exmoor on 17th July 2024. They become part of the South West Coast Path but also part of the King Charles III England Coast Path. The six new sections are clearly signed on the ground with the National Trail acorn. The new sections of Coast Path are all closer to the sea than the coast path used to be and open up new access and spectacular views for the public to enjoy. The 'old' coast path routes are all public rights of way - some public footpaths and some bridleways - so are all available for the public to use and give opportunities for some great circular walks.
