Our Vision for Nature Recovery
What could a more nature-rich Exmoor look like?
Achieving a more nature-rich Exmoor means everyone collectively taking steps to put nature first. We are only just beginning to understand how these changes might impact the landscape and our rural economy, and above all how they can be achieved in harmony with the special qualities for which Exmoor is designated.
This interactive illustration aims to show the kinds of changes that together could help reverse the decline in nature. Land of any size can contribute –nature reserves, village greens, churchyards, schools, farms, parks and gardens – they all have a part to play. Where we go now is up to you and all those who together help care for this beautiful landscape.
